Jane Goodall visited Prairie Wildlife Research and toured the National Black-Footed Ferret Conservation Center before her "Reason to Hope" lecture at Colorado State University on April 25, 2007.
Her companion Mr. H also joined the tour.
Jane got up close and personal with black-footed ferrets at the facility...
and learned about the NBFFCC's breeding efforts.
Jane was able to view the first kits born during the 2007 breeding season (one day old) during her visit.
